Select the key elements of the displacement sensor

The displacement sensor is the core configuration that is often used in all electrical appliances, and is generally used in the infrared remote control system of TV sets or air conditioning fans. Therefore, if users want to buy the most stable displacement sensor, they need to consider the relevant parameters and related matters, so as to better play the performance of the use in production.

The key elements of the selection of displacement sensors can be listed as 5.

1. Measure the target

The same is the measurement target object, but the metal material, resin material, large, small, etc., the measurement object is various. Please confirm the measurement position of "material", "size", "shape". For example, "If it is a soft target, it cannot be contacted", "if the target is a resin material, it cannot be measured by eddy current", etc. Depending on the target, some measurement sensors are not suitable.

2. Measurement accuracy

When judging OK and NG, the required accuracy of the measurement sensor should be 1/10 of the tolerance as the reference value.

3. Measuring range

What measuring range is needed?

Please confirm how far you need to keep the distance from the measurement object (measurement distance).

4. The surroundings

Please confirm the surrounding environment. For example, when used in a high temperature environment, or when used in a water, oil, dust environment, etc., the displacement sensor selected is different according to the surrounding environment. In addition, it is necessary to confirm the space for installing the displacement sensor.

5. Measure the speed

Please confirm the production line speed, stop time and other information at the actual test location. For example, because ultrasonic displacement sensors use the principle of sound waves, the response speed is slower than other measurement sensors. In addition, the use of contact displacement sensors requires the target to stop in order to measure.
