How to output synchronization signal for dispersion confocal sensor?

  Spectral confocal sensor, also known as dispersion confocal sensor, dispersion confocal displacement sensor controller has 232 serial port and USB interface, can transmit data online. It also has encoder synchronization, which can support three-axis encoder signals. The dispersion confocal sensor can not only accept the external trigger signal as the "slave" device, but also SYNCOUT as the synchronous output signal of the "master" device

Synchronous Output signal

Synchronizing the sensor to "master" means that the "synchronous output" TTL signal emitted by the sensor is used to trigger (block) the external device.

The sensor emits a "sync" pulse for each measuring point in the middle of the cyclic exposure time (CET).

CET=EET*AVR

EET= Basic exposure time =1/ sampling frequency,AVR= average.

For example, for a measurement rate of 100 Hz, the basic exposure time is 10 milliseconds. By default, the sensor measurement has no average (AVR=1), so the periodic exposure time is equal to the basic exposure time. If the sensor is configured with an average factor of 5, the CET is equal to 50 milliseconds because 5 frames are obtained and averaged for each measurement point.

The case in dual frequency is as follows:

The duration of the "synchronous output" signal (high state) is 10µs, regardless of CET

The "synchronous output" signal is automatically emitted and does not require any special configuration.

When the sensor is in the state of waiting for the trigger, it does not send a "synchronous output" signal.
